Course Description
HESED’s practice and revision questions are designed to meet the requirements of the national curriculum and the needs of students preparing for the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NECO) and Universities Tertiaries Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
Also, International General Certificate School Examinations (IGCSE) subjects are extensively covered to give students a head start.
Students in Technical Colleges, first-year tertiary institutions and related educational institutions may find HESED courses useful.
How it works
Structure of our questions
HESED course has two broad categories:
- Practice and revision questions
Our in-house subject matter experts uniquely develop our practice and revision questions. We have followed the national curriculum and international best practices for the subject. All the topics in each subject are comprehensively covered. Over 5,000 questions are covered in a subject.
Our question design philosophy is to assist students in understanding the depth of each topic and bringing out their independent study skills.
The questions are divided into Foundation – which tests basic skills, and Higher, which tests and promotes students’ higher order of thinking skills.
Each question is provided with an answer and a detailed explanation of why the answer is correct, which we refer to as a hint.
- Past examination questions
We have aggregated over 30 years of past examination questions covering many subjects. Suggested answers have been provided for thousands of questions, with detailed analysis provided on the answers.

Subjects
Our questions are based on the national curriculum and international best practices; we have developed learning materials to help students prepare for national secondary school examinations such as Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) examinations.
